Europesca is located in Solduno and is owned by Mr. Giuseppe De Bernardo, a highly passionate individual who is extremely knowledgeable about all fishing techniques and the best fishing spots in Ticino. His shop specializes in fishing gear and outdoor clothing. He also offers a wide selection of flies and fly-fishing tackle.
Ambrosini SAGL
Ambrosini SAGL, located in Muralto, is owned by Mr. Mauro Ambrosini, a highly skilled hunter, gunsmith, and angler. The shop has been family-owned throughout its entire history, passed down from father to son, making it a true staple of the region.
Today, the shop is managed by his associate, Nadir Maspero, who will eventually take over. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Mauro since childhood, he sold me my first fly-fishing rod and was always ready to offer advice or repair broken gear. Over the years, I’ve also gotten to know Nadir, and seeing the passion being passed down is truly inspiring. Both are extremely knowledgeable in a wide range of hunting and fishing techniques.
